"I wanted to write a contemporary rock song in the style of U2/Coldplay, so I enlisted the incredible talent of Seth Condrey. Seth is not only a former Dove Award winner, he is an amazing artist and lyricist. On "To Africa With Love", his lyrics and melody really helped to embody the spirit and mood that I was trying to capture on the full length "TAWL" recording. It should be noted that several months after the completion of this song, Seth and I went to Swaziland, South Africa as part of a series of concerts and mission work with a group called, Heart For Africa.
