JPM appears on the podcast - Drummer's Weekly Groovecast - episode #93, hosted by Phil Smith. Click Here to listen or subscribe below.
In this episode Phil Smith sits down with his long time friend Joseph Patrick Moore for an up to date look at the Las Vegas music scene. Phil and Joseph have traveled together and played thousands of gigs in their thirty year relationship. However last year Moore relocated to Las Vegas and has established himself inside the Vegas music community. Before we tackle the gig scene we catch up and discuss a few stories from back in the day (trust me, no one suffered long term effects from that first tale). We then talk about the quality of life, the affordability of Vegas, other choices of relocation areas, and how Las Vegas compares to other large cities.
JPM Co-Produced a song with Drummer | Composer | Visual Artist - Yonrico Scott titled, "Life Of A Dreamer (Suite For Marimba)". This song has been nominated by the 2018 Roundglass Music Awards in the "Best Jazz Single" category. Congratulations to Yonrico Scott and to all the nominees!

JPM recently signed a contract with Cirque Du Soleil as an "On-Call Artist" for the residency show "KA" located at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. As an "On-Call Artist" JPM will be playing bass on a "as needed basis".
Note: Derek Jones is the house bassist for KA and he recently celebrated his 6,000th show. JPM in effect, will be subbing for Derek when he is unavailable for the show.
