Ableton Live Rig:
Laptop running Ableton Live which is controlled with a midi foot pedal, running into an aguilar 2x10 to hear the audio from the laptop. The audio is also running through a Saphire Focusrite which is recorded L/R in stereo. Typically, this rig is used in a live "solo bass" context only.

Control Room:
The control room is adjacent to the Live Loft. The main interface is an Universal Audio Apollo Quad 2 (recording using Thunderbolt) into a 27 inch iMac. Typically I use the Brent Avril 1272 Module Mic Preamp and/or DI (pictured above in #2 in rack). For monitoring I use Adam A7x, 12" Cerwin Vega (for bass response) on controlled PrimeAcoustic floor panels below/behind control surface (not pictured) and a Bose stereo for fine tuning. Additionally there is enough room to record and capture using video camera's or with Skype (iPad or iMac) for a more interactive experience.
Note that in picture #4 (mic stand with windscreen): In the near future this room will be an isolated Upright Bass/Vocal Booth. There will be a see through glass door and it will be acoustically treated.

Recording:
I use Logic and Ableton Live to record. I also have a REDDI and a modified Brick as a possible DI source. Additionally, I have a True Bypass Pedal Board with Octaver, Distortion and Delays utilizing Analysis-Plus Cables. I'm able to provide effects upon request but typically only use the pedal board in a live application.
